I am a cognitive neuroscientist interested in how our brains process visual information. To this end, I study the full range of human face processing - in the healthy and damaged brain, and in co-called Super-Recognizers. My work has led to collaborations with industry and government; I am a scientific advisor to the Berlin State Office of Criminal Investigation and have ongoing research projects with several international police agencies.
