I find color vision fascinating because it is a phenomenon which most of us readily experience every day, but it has rich underlying anatomy and physiology. My research interests largely stem from the biological underpinnings of color vision, which I then investigate using psychophysics in intact human subjects. Studying color vision also allows me to bring together my passions for science and teaching with my avocation of quilting.
