I am interested in how we use visual information both to control the movements of our bodies, and to gain a sense of ownership over them. I have a focus on development. My PhD thesis, supervised by Prof Oliver Braddick, examined the development of visual guidance in locomotion. As a Postdoctoral Fellow I examined locomotor control in Parkinson’s disease and then the development of own-body representation. I am an Associate Professor in Psychology at Durham University, UK, where my work is funded by the UK Economic & Social Research Council.
