I earned my PhD in 2005 from the University of Waterloo, and have been at Mount Allison University since 2008. I have few active research programs, notably in the area of multisensory integration, and have received NSERC funding for my research in multisensory processing. In one research stream, I look at the kinds of memory representations that are developed when individuals explore different types of objects by sight or by touch, and how these memory representations drive visuo-haptic object processing. In a second research stream, I look at the conditions, such as cognitive load and stimulus correspondence, that influence audiovisual perception.
