I am a Cognitive Neuroscientist currently interested in understanding how plasticity can be optimised in the brain for the potential benefits of improving cognition and addressing the impact of neurodegeneration in pathological ageing. I use eye-tracking and motor responses to monitor behaviour, alongside transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to induce plasticity, and functional Near Infra-Red Spectroscopy (fNIRS) to record brain activity. My previous research has focused on investigating at eye-movement networks in the brain using fMRI and eye-tracking technology.
