I am passionate about translational neuropyschology research in visual perception. Visual perception refers to how the brain processes information coming from the eyes. My research aims to better understand visual perception difficulties that people can experience after brain injury. I develop assessments and interventions for patients with visual perceptual deficits after brain damage. I do underpinning basic vision science research and use translational neuropsychology methods. I work closely with patients and clinicians to learn about their experiences and needs. With that knowledge I develop assessments and interventions to improve patients’ lives.
