Females of Vision et al. (FoVea) aims to promote women in vision research. Our mission is to advance the visibility, impact, and success of women in vision science. We welcome people of all genders interested in promoting women in vision science.
Statement of Support for the Black Community
FoVea wishes to voice our support for the protests around the world condemning the excessive force by police against Black communities. We stand in solidarity with those demanding an end to long-standing inequities and injustices directed towards the Black Community. We encourage everyone to take action to fight anti-Black racism and anti-Black violence, and to serve not just as allies for Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) individuals, but as true accomplices in the fight for change and racial justice.
